CoDi (Mobile payments)

BENEFITS

  • CoDi® lets you make collections and payments quickly and easily.
  • No fees or commissions.
  • Promotes a financial relationship between merchants and customers.
  • Reduces the use of cash.
  • You don’t need to use a card or depend on a point-of-sale terminal.
  • Make payments in person in establishments, or remotely on e-commerce sites or services through collection messages, in seconds.
  • Transactions are limited to 8,000 mexican pesos, but there is no daily or monthly limit on the number of transactions.
  • The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

CoDi® for Individuals and Individuals with Business Activity:

If you’re an individual or an individual registered with the tax authority for business activity, you can use CoDi® from our Mobile Banking app for collections and payments. All you need is:

Activating the service on our app is very easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Click on CoDi® from your Mobile Banking app.
  2. Select “Registrar” (sign up).
  3. Review and accept the terms and conditions.
  4. Enter the activation code you receive by SMS.
  5. Select the account you want incoming credits to go to.
  6. Wait for the message saying the account has been successfully validated and you’re done (a credit of 0.01 mexican pesos will be credited to your account as part of that process).

Now you’re ready to pay with CoDi®!

For collections:

  1. Click on CoDi® from your Mobile Banking app.
  2. Click on “Generar cobro” (Process collection).
  3. Enter your Mobile Banking password.
  4. Enter the amount, label, and reference number for the transaction and press “Generar.”

For payments:

  1. Click on CoDi® from your Mobile Banking app.
  2. Select “Leer QR” (read QR code).
  3. Scan the QR code generated y the merchant or bring devices with an active NFC close together.
  4. Enter your password in the Mobile Banking app.
  5. Review and authorize the transaction.

CoDi® for Corporations:

If you own a business, you can use CoDi® to collect payments for credit to your Intercam account through the Banxico app. The requirements are:

  • An Intercam bank account, which you can open at any of our branches (accounts cannot be opened remotely)
  • A smartphone or mobile device with access to the internet.
  • The Banxico CoDi® app for collections

To activate the service, follow these steps:

  1. Download the CoDi® Banxico application, available on Google Play and in the App Store.
  2. Review and accept terms and conditions.
  3. Enter your phone number.
  4. Enter a password and confirm it.
  5. The system will send you an SMS with an activation code; enter it to continue.
  6. Access the “Settings” menu to determine your preferences in the “Payment Profile” section.
  7. Account type: CLABE.
  8. CLABE: enter your Intercam Banco account.
  9. Bank: Intercam Banco
  10. Accept the settings.
  11. Wait for the message saying the account has been successfully validated and you’re done (a credit of 0.01 mexican pesos will be credited to your account as part of that process).

Ready! You can now accept payments to your Intercam Banco Account.
